Stanza one
Words inscribed on the walls of my heart
society demands I live up to expectation
They will never tell you how hard
Little mistakes comes with great provocation
I see life as a gift and this gift as my life
Pondering over my thoughts
I try to achieve success the easy way
but in turn I got the worst
I kept on trying, doing it my own way
but I never knew doom was on it’s way.
then I got little hope, fro testimonies from my friends.
Stanza two
I was eager to be on that level
that level were I would walkout on my friends and they would blame themselves for
being evil
The level I would demand respect
which comes only by being the best
I knew it was not what my parents taught me
they were aged and old-fashioned so i thought
I had to belong if I wanted to be a better me
this life is legit at least so I thought
Stanza three
I upgraded in my daily expenses
My parents didn’t really pay attention
I was all holy at home
And they never knew my real intentions
Stanza four
And for long I lost the vision
Facing the wrong battlefield
I forgot my real mission
Mom always said never to yield
And that was my fuel
but I wasn’t burning the right way
Stanza five
I was soon made king in this kingdom
for sure I didn’t really like it at all
But all my subjects saw it as wisdom
Never thought this empire would ever fall
but Alas it did
I felt horrible and happy at the same time
because I didn’t belong,I was knew it was wrong
I felt weak as if I had been stung
remembering the fame I got
it couldn’t match the shame I fought
Mom noticed and led me back to the front
I had lost the faith
now I am back I feel great
I no distant time I began to soar
with peace of mind I didn’t need to roar
I no more felt the need to intrude
as I was now in my best happy mood.
